WBO Interim Champion Joseph Parker has made it clear—he wants another shot at Anthony Joshua. In a recent interview with FastSlots, Parker expressed a strong desire to step into the ring once again with the British boxing star, highlighting Joshua’s global fanbase and massive box office appeal.

Reflecting on their first clash in March 2018—where Joshua emerged victorious and unified the IBF, WBA, and WBO heavyweight titles—Parker acknowledged how much he’s grown since that bout. “I’m a different fighter now,” he said, confident that he’s better equipped to change the outcome if given a second chance.

Beyond the sporting aspect, Parker admitted that a fight with Joshua makes financial sense. “He’s been the poster boy for a long time, so he’s always going to have that pull,” Parker noted. “Fighting AJ guarantees a big payday—he fills arenas and sells out shows.”

From Joshua’s perspective, a potential win over Parker could be a key step toward reclaiming a spot at the top of the heavyweight division. With his career entering what some see as a crucial phase, a solid performance could reignite his journey toward another world title.

In the broader heavyweight scene, former WBC Champion Deontay Wilder is also eyeing a clash with Joshua. Despite a difficult stretch—losing four of his last five fights—Wilder has expressed his intent to return stronger. “Not this year for sure, but maybe sometime next year,” he said, hinting at a future showdown with Joshua. “It’s close. All of that is close.”

As Parker continues to campaign for a rematch, fans are left wondering: will he get his shot at redemption, or will Joshua press forward on his path to heavyweight glory? With so much at stake for both fighters, the next chapter in their rivalry—and their careers—promises to be anything but dull.

Only time will tell.
