President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to ending insecurity across Nigeria, delivering a strong message of hope and resolve in his Easter address to the nation.

In his message, President Tinubu acknowledged the recent tragic killings that have plagued parts of the country, attributing them to “forces of evil.” He assured Nigerians that these forces would not prevail and that his administration is determined to restore peace and security without delay.

“I have given clear directives to the Armed Forces and all relevant security agencies to end insecurity decisively and without delay,” President Tinubu stated. He expressed confidence that the military, with their “unwavering courage and commitment,” are making steady progress in reclaiming peace and stability.

The President’s message also addressed the economic challenges facing the nation, praising Nigerians for their “patience and resilience” as the economy begins to show signs of recovery. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to restoring investor confidence, stabilizing key sectors, and building an inclusive economy.

President Tinubu extended his heartfelt felicitations to Christians in Nigeria and worldwide, reflecting on the significance of Easter and the enduring values of sacrifice, redemption, love, and hope. He drew inspiration from the “timeless message of hope and renewal,” reiterating his commitment to delivering a “Renewed Hope, a better, more just, and prosperous Nigeria for all.”

He also joined the global Christian community in expressing gratitude for the recovery of Pope Francis, praying for his continued strength and leadership.

In his closing remarks, President Tinubu urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and resolute in pursuing national progress. “The task before us is enormous, but together, with faith and determination, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome. Our unity and resilience are our greatest strengths,” he said.

He concluded by wishing all Nigerians a Happy Easter, praying for peace and prosperity for the nation.
