Burna Boy has etched his name in history, becoming the first African artist to sell out the iconic Stade de France over the weekend. The Afrofusion superstar delivered a monumental performance that left the Parisian crowd in awe and will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.

“Remember what I said about empty chairs?” Burna Boy proudly declared on Instagram following the groundbreaking concert. “Thank you France for consistently making my dreams come true.”

And a dream it truly was. Burna Boy, backed by his dynamic band, The Outsiders, and a vibrant ensemble of dancers, ignited the massive stadium with an explosive energy that permeated every corner. The audience roared along to hit after hit, including fan-favorites like ‘City Boys,’ ‘Last Last,’ and ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World,’ each track amplified by the enthusiastic participation of the sold-out crowd.

The night transcended a solo performance, evolving into a global musical celebration. Burna Boy welcomed a stellar lineup of international artists to the stage, showcasing the rich diversity of contemporary music. Senegalese music icon Youssou Ndour graced the stage, alongside British rapper Santan Dave, French-Congolese sensation Dadju, and French-Haitian artist Jo� Dw�t Fil�, who joined Burna for a vibrant rendition of their ‘4 Kamp�’ remix. The energy continued to surge with appearances from French-Cameroonian rapper Werenoi, alongside Nigerian stars Fireboy DML and Shallipopi, DJ Lambo, and Burna’s own sister, the talented Nissi.

Adding to the spectacle, the night sky above the Stade de France erupted in a dazzling display of fireworks, marking this historic achievement in spectacular fashion.

“Sold this stadium in a couple of months, off cycle! I�m so thankful for you all!!” Burna Boy shared his gratitude online. “Big love to all my people that graced the stage with me! I appreciate every last one of you.”
