Arsenal winger Ethan Nwaneri is on the verge of completing a season-long loan move to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
The 19-year-old is traveling to Germany to undergo medical tests and finalize terms ahead of the move. Both Mikel Arteta and Arsenal management support the temporary switch, prioritizing regular first-team minutes that remain limited within the current Arsenal squad.
Nwaneri managed six Premier League appearances for the Gunners last season before completing a short loan stint with Marseille. That came after a breakout campaign the previous year, where he featured 26 times in the English top flight, scoring four goals and registering two assists.
The English attacker is set to continue his development at Signal Iduna Park under manager Niko Kovac as Dortmund build out their frontline options for the new campaign.
