As the summer transfer window approaches, Chelsea’s pursuit of key targets Dean Huijsen and Liam Delap appears to be faltering.

Delap, a former Manchester City academy player who had a solid Premier League debut with Ipswich Town, has a 30 million release clause activated by Ipswich’s relegation.

Manchester United now seem poised to sign him, reportedly gaining the player’s favor. Meanwhile, Chelsea also faces a setback in their central defense search, as 20-year-old Spanish international Dean Huijsen is reportedly prioritizing a move to Real Madrid despite interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal. Real Madrid has already contacted his camp and is aware of his 50 million release clause terms
