There have been rumours in the media linking Victor Osimhen and Joao Felix to Chelsea with just a few days left to the end of the 2024 summer transfer window.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was asked about the situation of both players ( Joao Felix and Victor Osimhen as the club continues in their search for a prolific striker who will partner or put Nicolas Jackson on his toes ahead of the new season. According to Argentine, who was speaking in a pre-pre-match press conference ahead of his first competitive game against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

He said,

“I am not gonna comment on Atléti and Napoli players. The club knows exactly what I think and hopefully before the window shuts we can bring in some more players”.

He also spoke about the situation with Conor Gallagher who recently returned from Spain after his transfer to Atletico Madrid stalled due to some uncertainties.

“Conor is back. He is training apart. He is doing some medical tests and training. He won’t be involved for this game vs Man City because he is trying to find a solution.”

The future of Gallagher has been uncertain since he rejected a two-year deal with an option to extend which was offered to him by Chelsea. However, he could still leave as a free agent if he fails to join another club before the expiration of his current contract with the Blues which ends in a few months.

Chelsea supporters will hope that they will see Victor Osimhen, Joao Felix and Victor Osimhen and Conor Gallagher wear their club’s jersey when the transfer window closes.
