The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced a strategic partnership with Dangote Refinery to ensure a consistent and affordable supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) across the country.
IPMAN National President, Abubakar Garima, confirmed the agreement following a meeting with Aliko Dangote and his management team in Lagos. The partnership aims to streamline the fuel supply chain and reduce costs for consumers.
“We are excited to announce this collaboration with Dangote Refinery,” said Garima. “This partnership will enable us to supply PMS, AGO, and DPK directly to our depots and retail outlets, ensuring a stable and affordable supply of fuel for Nigerians.”
By eliminating intermediaries, IPMAN hopes to reduce the cost of fuel and stimulate economic growth. The partnership is also expected to create job opportunities and support President Bola Tinubu’s economic agenda.
Dangote Refinery, Africa’s largest, has commenced production of petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel. The refinery is expected to supply over 30,000 IPMAN members and 150,000 retail outlets across Nigeria.
This strategic move by IPMAN and Dangote Refinery marks a significant step towards ensuring Nigeria’s energy security and boosting the country’s economy
