Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Joeboy has dropped the highly anticipated official music video for his standout single “Free of Charge,” featuring the legendary Olamide. The infectious track, lifted from Joeboy’s recently released third studio album Viva Lavida, is a testament to his evolving artistry and knack for crafting chart-topping collaborations.

“Free of Charge,” produced by the talented Tempoe, blends Joeboy’s silky-smooth vocals with Olamide’s electrifying verse, resulting in a dynamic fusion of melody and energy. The song has quickly become a fan favorite since the release of Viva Lavida, a 13-track masterpiece that showcases Joeboy’s versatility with guest features from Olamide, Wizard Chan, Qing Madi, Tempoe, and Elana Dara. The album also includes previously released hits like “Taxi Driver,” “SMH,” “Osadebe,” and “Adenuga,” which have solidified Joeboy’s status as a leading voice in African music.

The music video, directed by Jyde Ajala for Old Soldier Inc. Production, brings the song’s lively spirit to life with crisp visuals and a burst of color. Capturing the essence of the track, the video is a celebration of creativity and synergy, perfectly complementing the chemistry between Joeboy and Olamide.

Speaking on the release, Joeboy shared, “Working with Olamide was a dream, and ‘Free of Charge’ is a special track for me. The video reflects the joy and energy we put into it—I can’t wait for fans to experience it.”
