How does it feel to have the whole world vibing and listening to a song made specifically for you?

Tanzanian Afrobeat sensation Juma Jux has followed the path of lovers finding expressions not only in love but in music too. Today, April 17, 2025, he dropped a brand-new single titled “God Design”, featuring Nigerian rap icon Phyno. But this isn’t just another chart-topper; it’s a deeply personal love song dedicated to his bride, Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo. As if the music isn’t romantic enough, it is being released on the very weekend the couple tied the knot in a stunning Yoruba traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria. Talk about a perfect harmony of music and love.

God Design is the standout track from Juma Jux’s seven-track EP titled “A Day to Remember“, and true to its name, it’s unforgettable. With East African melodies and Nigerian rhythmic flair, the song, like the wedding, beautifully bridges both artists’ cultures.

In Juma’s words,

The song is straight from the heart, for the love of my life, Priscilla Ojo.

Whether you’re a fan of Afrobeat or a sucker for love stories, this one hits right in the feels. Enjoy the snippet below:
