Despite a valiant effort from LeBron James, who tallied 38 points and 10 rebounds, the Lakers struggled with turnovers, committing 19 that led to 28 points for the Timberwolves. Luka Don?i?, battling a stomach illness, contributed 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists but was limited by McDaniels’ defense.
The Timberwolves dominated the paint, outscoring the Lakers 56–26 in that area, with Julius Randle adding 22 points. A decisive 13–1 run in the final minutes sealed the win for Minnesota.
Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Minneapolis, where the Timberwolves will aim to extend their series lead.
