Sabrina Carpenter won the Moon Person for Song of the Year, while Chappell Roan was named Best New Artist at the 2024 show.
Other notable winners included SZA, Eminem, Lenny Kravitz, Blackpink’s Lisa, and Tyla. Taylor Swift, who led with 12 nominations going into the event, was the biggest winner, taking home seven awards, including Video of the Year for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone.
The event, hosted by Megan Thee Stallion, aired live from New York’s UBS Arena, where she also gave a performance during the 2024 MTV VMAs.
