LucasFilm Animation has announced a new animated series titled ‘Maul – Shadow Lord’, set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
The series will delve into Darth Maul’s life post-Clone Wars, focusing on his quest to build criminal syndicate and train a new padawan. The storyline is set approximately a year after the Clone Wars and includes action-packed sequences such as encounters with bounty hunters, a new Sith apprentice, and a duel with an inquisitor.
The trailer also hints at the origins of Darth Talon. This announcement was made during the Star Wars Celebration, celebrating 20 years of LucasFilm Animation, where Sam Witwer, the voice of Darth Maul, made a surprise appearance.
