Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala has won the UEFA Women�s Champions League �Goal of the Season� for the 2023/24 campaign after careful selection by the UEFA�s Technical Observer panel.

Oshoala clinched the plaque with her stunning bicycle kick goal in the Women�s Champions League Matchday One fixture between Spanish giants Barcelona and Portuguese outfit Benfica.

She eventually left Barcelona mid-season to join the newly founded top-flight club Bay FC in the United States.

Despite not finishing the season with Barcelona, Oshoala will collect a medal after Barcelona beat Lyon to win the Women�s Champions League on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Barcelona forward Aitana Bonmat�s goal against Brann in their quarter-final second leg fixture in March was ranked the second best goal of the season while Justine Kielland�s goal in the encounter between Brann and Lyon ranked third.
