What do you expect when Nigerian Baddo and Grammy winner Wizkid come together?
Two of Nigeria’s biggest music exports, Olamide and Wizkid, are back together, and the result is nothing short of magic. Their new collaboration, “KAI!”, produced by Eskeez it’s already blazing through the charts. The single is a bold teaser from Olamide’s forthcoming album, Olamidé, scheduled to release on June 3, 2025, his first project since 2021’s UY Scuti.
Back in 2011, Olamide and Wizkid gave us “Omo To Shan,” a classic that helped define the early 2010s sound in Nigeria. Fast forward to 2025, and “Kai!” proves that their synergy has only gotten stronger with time. The song shows off their evolved artistry: Olamide’s street-smart lyrics blend seamlessly with Wizkid’s smooth, irresistible delivery. Together, they’ve created a vibe that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly new. Kai!” is all about rhythm and groove with the official music video, directed by Jyde Ajala.
