Afrobeats superstar Oxlade has just dropped ‘Oxlade From Africa (Deluxe)’, an expanded edition of his critically acclaimed debut album, promising fans a fresh wave of sonic brilliance and infectious energy. The standout track, ‘Doingz’, is already making waves with its high-octane rhythm and irresistible charm, further solidifying Oxlade’s reputation as a versatile and dynamic force in the Afrobeats scene.

‘Oxlade From Africa (Deluxe)’ builds upon the foundation of the original project, adding four brand new captivating tracks that inject further depth and vibrancy into the listening experience. Leading the charge is ‘Doingz’, a confident and flirty party anthem produced by the renowned Egar Boi, known for his work with Yemi Alade and Tekno. The deluxe edition also features ‘Omalicha’, a smooth and love-infused track crafted by Mikey Muzik (who has worked with Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber) and Freshy (known for his collaborations with Dremo and Ajebo Hustlers). ‘Sho Mi’, produced by Duktor Sett (famous for his work with Phyno and The Cavemen), offers a soulful reflection on divine blessings and protection. Rounding out the new additions is ‘Vanity’, a deeply personal and heartfelt tribute to Oxlade’s grandmother, produced by the acclaimed Magicsticks (known for his work with Asake and Olamide), honoring her wisdom and enduring influence.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the deluxe edition, Oxlade shared, “I want everyone to go back to the drawing board, connect with their oxygen, and just enjoy this while my sophomore project is in the works. I want my fans to feel my love through this project—to know that the old Oxy isn’t coming back. I’m growing, I’m evolving, just like they are, and I want them to grow with me on this journey through my music.â€

Oxlade has firmly established himself as a leading figure in African music and a rapidly rising global star. His debut album, ‘Oxlade From Africa (OFA)’, captivated audiences worldwide, becoming the second most-streamed Nigerian project of 2024, dominating charts, and amassing millions of streams.
