Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has ignited a flurry of reactions online with a bold prophecy stating that a time will come when the church’s Governing Council meeting will be held on the moon.

In a video clip that has rapidly gone viral across social media platforms, Pastor Adeboye made this striking declaration during a recent church program. 1 The revered cleric attributed the vision to a direct message from God.

According to Pastor Adeboye, while the prophecy might seem outlandish or hard to believe, he is certain of its eventual fulfillment. He stated, “I know with God all things are possible. He told me a time will come when the RCCG Governing Council will hold its meetings on the moon. It may not make sense, but that’s God. You don’t have to believe it—but it will come to pass.”

Since the statement surfaced, it has generated widespread discussions and reactions among Nigerians online. Many have shared the video, expressing a wide range of opinions, from awe and wonder to amusement and skepticism.

Pastor Adeboye, a highly respected figure known for his spiritual authority and decades of leadership within the RCCG, did not specify any timeframe for the fulfillment of this extraordinary prophecy. However, he firmly reiterated his unwavering faith in the divine message he believes he received.
