In a major development, it has been confirmed that Paul Pogba, Juventus midfielder and former France international, will be eligible to return to the pitch in 2025. Originally handed a four-year suspension following a doping violation, Pogba’s ban has been significantly reduced to just 18 months.

The 30-year-old was sidelined after testing positive for a prohibited substance, which initially cast doubt on his footballing future. However, the recent decision to reduce his ban allows Pogba to start training with Juventus as early as January 2025, with a return to competitive matches slated for March.

The Frenchmans return will also reignite questions about his future at the club and whether he can regain his top form after this lengthy period away from football.
