In a highly anticipated celebrity boxing match dubbed “Chaos in the Ring,” Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, secured a swift victory over rapper Darlington Okoye, also known as Speed Darlington or Akpi. The bout took place on April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.?

From the onset, Portable dominated the ring, unleashing a series of powerful punches that left Speed Darlington visibly dazed. The match concluded abruptly when Speed Darlington failed to return for the second round, leading the referee to declare Portable the winner by technical knockout (TKO)

Leading up to the fight, Speed Darlington had made boldclaims, even going as far as purchasing a coffin he intended to use for Portable post-match. However, the tables turned dramatically as he was the one escorted out in an ambulance, nursing a broken hand sustained during the bout.

This victory marks Portable’s second win in celebrity boxing, following his previous triumph over Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in December 2023. The match has since sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with fans praising Portable’s performance and questioning the pre-fight bravado displayed by Speed Darlington.?
