Raphinha produced a historic performance by becoming the first Barcelona player in 11 years to score a perfect LaLiga hat-trick, leading Hansi Flick’s side to a 3-1 turnaround victory over Sevilla at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. Assisted by two goals from Lamine Yamal, the Brazilian forward ensured Barcelona maintained their 100 percent winning record at the top of the table heading into the international break.

The match opened with intense pressure from both sides as 19-year-old Lamine Yamal hit the upright with a curling long-range attempt. Sevilla capitalised on their early momentum around the 19th minute when Felix Correia delivered a clipped cross into the penalty box, allowing Youssouf Fofana to head past LaLiga debutant Dominik Livaković and put the hosts ahead.

Barcelona responded swiftly before the interval to restore parity. Operating as a central striker this season, Raphinha latched onto a through ball from Andreas Christensen, chopped the ball onto his right foot, and slotted a precise finish past the keeper to bring his league tally to double figures.

The league leaders asserted control in the second half, with Lamine Yamal setting up the defining moments of the game. In the 52nd minute, Yamal evaded pressure on the flank and floated a cross into the box for Raphinha to head home his second. Just before the 70-minute mark, Yamal released another through ball for Raphinha, who deftly lifted a left-footed strike over Odysseas Vlachodimos to complete his perfect hat-trick.

The victory marks a seventh consecutive league win for Barcelona, extending their lead at the top of LaLiga to six points ahead of the Madrid derby. Despite the defeat, Sevilla remain guaranteed to enter the international break sitting fifth in the standings.
