Real Madrid extended their perfect start to the LaLiga season, securing a comfortable 4-1 victory over Levante at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. The win marks a historic moment for the club, as it’s only the second time since the 1987/88 season that they have opened a campaign with six successive league victories.

Levante, who had a favorable record in recent home fixtures against Madrid, began the match with confidence. Early chances from Iván Romero and Adrián de la Fuente put the visitors on notice, but once the LaLiga leaders found their rhythm, there was no stopping them.

The deadlock was broken in the 28th minute when Vinícius Júnior scored an inventive goal with the outside of his boot. Just ten minutes later, Los Blancos doubled their lead through a swift counter-attack, with Franco Mastantuono finishing coolly for his first goal since joining the club.

Levante found a way back into the contest in the 54th minute, as a deflected shot from Iván Romero looped over Thibaut Courtois before Etta Eyong applied the final touch. However, any hope of a comeback was quickly extinguished by a moment of brilliance from Kylian Mbappé. The French star first converted a Panenka penalty after a rash challenge, and then sealed the result with his second goal of the night, rounding the goalkeeper to make it 4-1.

The victory consolidates Real Madrid’s position at the top of the LaLiga table and extends their lead over the chasing pack. For Levante, the defeat leaves them in 16th place in the early standings, highlighting the struggles they face this season.
