Manchester City’s midfield maestro, Rodri, has attributed his recent Ballon d’Or win to his consistent performances throughout the 2023/2024 season. The Spaniard edged out Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior to claim the prestigious award.

In an interview with COPE, Rodri emphasized the importance of consistency in football. “I won the Ballon d’Or because of consistency, which is the most difficult thing in football,” he stated. “I was the most consistent player in the season.”

Rodri’s consistent performances were instrumental in Manchester City’s Premier League title win and Spain’s triumph at the Euros. His ability to dictate the tempo of games and provide a solid defensive presence has made him an indispensable player for both club and country.
