Following the overwhelming success of its inaugural season, the Afro-Gene Talent Show proudly announces the launch of its highly anticipated second edition. This groundbreaking platform celebrates Africa’s rich diversity and exceptional talent in Canada, promising an even more spectacular showcase of creativity and skill.

The Afro-Gene Talent Show aims to discover and promote the brightest stars across various artistic disciplines, including music, comedy, dance, spoken word, and more. With a commitment to highlighting the unique cultural heritage and contemporary expressions of Afro-Carribbean talent, the show has quickly become a beacon of opportunity for aspiring artists and entertainers.

Scheduled to kick off on June 30th at the Papermill Theatre , the second edition promises to be bigger and more captivating than ever before. Contestants from across the country are set to compete for $1000, the prestigious title as the “Next Afro-Gene Champion”, along with other substantial prizes and opportunities that could launch their careers onto the global stage.

Hosted by Actors and Social Media Sensations – JayKayKenny and Comedian Ebiye, The Judges (Ada Ohh – Internationally Celebrated On-Air Personality, Toronto Based Music Commentator and Media Personality – Emmanuel Owoniyi, Talent Manager/A&R – Blessed Akinlabi and Nigerian Acrtess and Content Creator – Bibi Sonye), are some of the most respected names in the Canadian entertainment industry, with years of experience in discovering and nurturing talent. They are looking for individuals who have that special something that makes them stand out from the crowd and capture the hearts of audiences across the country and the world.
