The Sweden Women’s national football team is heading into the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship in formidable form, extending their impressive unbeaten run to 12 matches after a convincing 2-0 victory over neighboring Norway in Oslo. This latest triumph serves as ideal preparation for the highly anticipated tournament.
Despite pre-match discussions centered around the mysterious injury and absence of star player Fridolina Rolfo, the Blågult showcased their depth and resilience at the Ullevaal Stadion. They quickly asserted their dominance, and in the 17th minute, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd delivered a precise cross from the right flank, allowing Stina Blackstenius to expertly cut across her marker and sweep the ball into the top corner.
