Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is likely to be sidelined until after the November international break due to a hamstring injury, as confirmed by Liverpool manager, Arne Slot. This setback means Alisson will miss Brazil’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers, dealing a blow to both his club and national team.

The Brazilian shot-stopper sustained the injury during Liverpool’s 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace, being forced off in the 79th minute following a collision with Eddie Nketiah as they contested for the ball. Alisson’s injury appears to be a serious one, raising concerns over his availability for several crucial fixtures.

Liverpool secured the win through a solitary goal from Diogo Jota, who netted in the 8th minute, marking his third Premier League goal this season.

Alisson’s absence will be a significant loss for Liverpool, with the club now relying on their backup goalkeepers to fill the void in the coming weeks.
