Manchester City has ensured Kevin De Bruyne’s phenomenal decade at the club will be permanently etched into their history, unveiling a mosaic and dedicating a road at the City Football Academy (CFA) in his honor. The tributes come as the Belgian midfielder prepares to make his final appearance at the Etihad Stadium during Tuesday’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth, ahead of his contract expiring in June.

The mosaic, depicting a signature De Bruyne celebration, now graces a training pitch at the CFA. It was personally revealed to the player by club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak. This striking artwork, created by local Manchester artist and City fan Mark Kennedy, joins a gallery of tributes dedicated to other City legends like Yaya Toure, Joe Hart, David Silva, Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho, and Ilkay Gundogan.

In a further testament to his immense impact, the road connecting the academy to the first-team centre has been officially renamed Kevin De Bruyne Crescent, symbolically linking the club’s future with the legacy of one of its most influential figures.

Since joining from Wolfsburg in 2015, the 33-year-old De Bruyne has been a driving force for City, scoring 108 goals in 420 matches. His illustrious 10-year stay has seen him become the club’s most decorated player, accumulating an astounding haul of silverware including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, the Champions League, the Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. His contributions have been instrumental in defining City’s most successful era.
