Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has disclosed that he turned down financial offers totaling ₦500 million and $200,000 from men who sought sexual favors from him.
The reality TV star made the revelation on social media while defending fellow BBNaija winner Whitemoney, who recently faced online criticism after exposing an unwanted advance from a man who sent him a direct message addressing him as “papi.”
Defending Whitemoney’s decision to publicly call out the incident, Cross emphasized that exhibiting feminine energy or mannerisms does not determine a man’s sexual orientation. He urged critics to refrain from judging people’s personal lives based on outward expressions or traits.
“You all should leave Whitemoney alone. A man can have a feminine energy and his 100% straight. I have been offered 500million naira, $200k to sleep with a man and I refused. And many other offers also. U can’t buy me with money or material things that’s something my mum taught me from childhood. Whitemoney is right to post that man.”
Cross further noted that inappropriate direct messages are common within the entertainment industry, but warned individuals against sending unsolicited advances to people without caution.
Crediting his mother for instilling strong principles during his upbringing, Cross stressed that no amount of money or material gain could persuade him to compromise his personal values. He concluded by addressing sexual orientations contrary to his religious beliefs, offering words of prayer and encouraging spiritual alignment for those involved.
