Afrobeats and Highlife artist DannyTheProphet (DTP) unveils his latest body of work, the three-track EP titled “DTP Vol.1.” Known for blending love-centered storytelling with feel-good rhythms and vibrant energy, the Abuja-based musician continues to strengthen his presence in Nigeria’s contemporary music landscape with this fresh release.

Building Momentum After Breakthrough Success

DTP gained notable recognition following the success of his breakout track You Dey Whine Me, which earned him two awards at the 2025 Nigerian Heroes Awards and Unity Dance by The Drum Majors. With DTP Vol.1, he channels that momentum into a project that highlights artistic growth and musical diversity rooted in Afrobeats and Highlife traditions.

A Three-Track Showcase of Sound and Culture

The EP presents three carefully crafted tracks that demonstrate DTP’s versatility and cultural range:

01. Bae (Jolly) — A lively, feel-good record celebrating affection, romance, and positive energy through vibrant instrumentation and catchy melodies.

02. Stay (ft. Lyta) — A standout collaboration that blends emotional delivery with melodic Afrobeats rhythm, showcasing chemistry between DTP and featured artist Lyta.

03. Oh Mama — A culturally rich track that reflects storytelling depth and traditional influences, further highlighting DTP’s Highlife inspiration.

All tracks were produced by Samuel Taiwo, with mastering handled by Zegxmix, ensuring sonic clarity and professional polish across the project.
