Belgium extended its impressive home record in FIFA World Cup qualifying to 17 matches unbeaten with a dominant 6-0 victory over Kazakhstan. The Red Devils’ commanding performance was spearheaded by Jérémy Doku, who scored twice and provided an assist, and Kevin De Bruyne, who also found the back of the net two times.

Despite a one-sided opening half-hour where the home side struggled to convert their chances, the floodgates opened just before halftime. De Bruyne broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute with a superb strike into the top corner, and Doku doubled the lead just two minutes later with a clinical finish.

The momentum continued into the second half, with Nicolas Raskin tapping in a goal in the 51st minute, thanks to excellent work by Doku. The Manchester City winger then scored his second goal of the evening on the hour mark, confidently drilling a left-footed shot into the far corner. De Bruyne added his second goal in the 84th minute, and Thomas Meunier completed the rout with a perfectly curled shot from the edge of the box just before the final whistle.

The win keeps Belgium in a strong position in Group J, moving them level on points with Wales. As they continue their quest to top the group, Belgium’s ability to convert possession into goals—a factor that initially frustrated the home crowd—proved to be overwhelming for a Kazakhstan side that now faces a difficult path to their first-ever World Cup appearance.
