Netflix’s dark fantasy hit The Sandman is making a highly anticipated return with Season 2, premiering in two parts—Volume 1 arrives on July 3, 2025, followed by Volume 2 on July 24. This season will also mark the final chapter of the series.

Fans of Neil Gaiman’s iconic comic are in for a rich, expansive continuation. Season 2 introduces major new characters from the realm of the Endless, including Destiny, Delirium, and The Prodigal, while beloved characters like Dream, Death, Desire, and Despair return for more mythic drama.

Expect high-stakes family reunions, Norse mythology crossovers with Odin, Thor, and Loki, and a haunting journey through A Midsummer Night’s Dream’s faerie world.

Tom Sturridge reprises his role as Dream/Morpheus, joined by returning stars Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Patton Oswalt, while Esmé Creed-Miles, Adrian Lester, and Barry Sloane join the cast as the new Endless.

Though it’s the final season, The Sandman promises a beautifully dark sendoff full of imagination, myth, and existential wonder.
