Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has praised his team’s resilience in the 1-0 win over Nasarawa United.

Emmanuel Ogbole’s powerful shot from outside the box before halftime gave the Harmony Boys a much-needed 1-0 victory over the Solid Miners.

Sanni vowed to build on the away victory of Lafia in Kwara United’s subsequent games.

“This is compensation from God,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.

“We are due to have won many away games, you can see we lost many scoring chances as well, but we thank God for the victory.”

Kwara United moved up to 11th position on the league table with 14 points following the win.
