Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have officially confirmed the initiation of transfer negotiations to sign legendary Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah as a free agent.
The announcement, released on Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on Tuesday, marks one of the most high-profile potential transfers in Turkish football history.
Medical Scheduled as Trabzonspor Target Thursday Signing
Speaking to broadcaster A Spor following the club’s public statement, Trabzonspor Chairman Ertugrul Dogan revealed that while the deal is not yet finalized, the 34-year-old winger is scheduled to land in Istanbul on Wednesday for medical examinations.
Pending successful medical checks, Salah will travel to the Black Sea coast to finalize the contract, with club officials aiming to conclude the deal by Thursday.
